Job Description

Property & Casualty Licensed Customer Service Representative Join our team as a customer service representative, where you'll be a crucial part of the company, helping customers navigate their questions and concerns while delivering an exceptional experience. You will handle inquiries, resolve issues, and work collaboratively with other departments to ensure customer satisfaction. Position Summary The primary responsibility for this role is to interact with customers to provide detailed information on products and services. Answering phone calls, handling and resolving complaints, and making proper changes to existing accounts. Qualifications Maintain insurance license and obtain/maintain certification (CISR). High school diploma or GED. Previous experience working as a Customer Service Representative. Knowledge of insurance products and policy schedules preferred. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Resolve customers' problems by ensuring all appropriate changes are made. Learning and understanding company insurance products. Answering calls and responding to customer complaints. Contact customers to respond to inquiries or to notify them of claim investigation results and any adjustments. Maintain records of customer interactions and transactions, recording all details (inquiries, complaints, comments, and actions taken). Recommending available products. Other duties as assigned Competency Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to explain detailed policy concepts Ability to remain calm in stressful situations Developing and maintaining relationships Time management Basic computer skills Friendly and professional behavior
