Job Description
Overview We are seeking a motivated and friendly Customer Service Associate / Cashier to join our team. In this role, you will be the face of our business, providing exceptional service to our customers while efficiently handling transactions. Your ability to communicate effectively and your keen attention to detail will contribute to a positive shopping experience for all patrons. Responsibilities Operate the cash register accurately and efficiently, processing customer transactions. Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers warmly and assisting them with their inquiries. Maintain knowledge of current promotions and products to effectively upsell and enhance sales opportunities. Handle phone inquiries with professionalism and courtesy, ensuring all customer questions are addressed. Assist in stocking shelves and organizing merchandise to ensure the store is well-presented. Communicate clearly with team members to ensure smooth operations throughout the store. Perform basic math calculations for cash handling and transaction processing. Requirements Previous experience in retail sales or as a cashier is preferred but not mandatory. Proficiency with cash registers and point-of-sale systems is a requirement. Strong phone etiquette skills for handling customer calls effectively. Ability to upsell products and promote special offers to enhance sales performance. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with customers and team members effectively. Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing. A positive attitude and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
