Customer Service Representative | Vac Pac, Inc. - Middle River, MD Vac Pac, Inc. is a Baltimore-based packaging manufacturer with over 75 years in business, producing food packaging used in supermarkets worldwide. We are looking for a Customer Service Representative who understands how products move through a manufacturing and warehouse environment and can keep orders accurate and on track from start to finish. This is not a typical desk-only customer service role. You will work closely with production, materials, and shipping, so having a strong understanding of how things flow on the floor is key. What you'll do: Manage assigned customer accounts and serve as the main point of contact Process and verify orders, pricing, specs, and documentation Communicate directly with production to support scheduling and order flow Track orders through production and follow up on timelines Ensure packaging, labeling, and order details are accurate before shipment Resolve issues and coordinate internally to keep orders moving What we're looking for: 2+ years of customer service experience Experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment strongly preferred Strong math skills and attention to detail (pricing, quantities, specs matter here) Ability to manage multiple orders and priorities at once Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel Clear, professional communication skills In-person role - Middle River, MD Full-time 401(k), medical, dental, vision, PTO, FSA If you've worked in a production or warehouse setting and want to move into a role that connects operations with customers, this is a great opportunity to grow with a stable, long-standing company.
