In this vital role, you will serve as the friendly face of our shop, managing customer interactions, coordinating repairs, and ensuring smooth daily operations. Your mechanical knowledge and excellent communication skills will help deliver outstanding service experiences, support our technicians, and drive customer satisfaction. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be at the heart of a fast-paced automotive environment while utilizing your sales and administrative expertise to contribute to our shop's success. Duties Greet customers promptly and professionally, providing a welcoming environment for all clients visiting the shop Assist customers with vehicle check-in, gather detailed descriptions of service needs, and communicate repair estimates clearly Use estimating software and automotive diagnostics tools to prepare accurate repair estimates and service write-ups Upsell additional services such as oil changes, tire services, brake repairs, suspension work, or alignments to maximize customer value and shop revenue Coordinate with technicians to prioritize repairs, monitor progress, and ensure timely completion of services Handle cash transactions, process payments accurately, and maintain detailed financial records Communicate effectively with clients regarding vehicle status, repair recommendations, and follow-up needs to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction Communicate with warranty companies and insurance companies claims requirements keep staff time tracking upto date Outreach to new companies in the community to create new business relationship Requirements Proven experience in automotive repair or service writing within a dealership or independent shop environment Strong mechanical knowledge including familiarity with oil changes, brake repair, suspension systems, tire service, shocks & struts, air brakes, and alignment procedures Proficiency with estimating software and computer-aided vehicle damage estimating tools Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly and professionally Valid driver's license with a clean driving record for client transportation if needed Experience in auto service management or collision repair is a plus but not required Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and maintain confidentiality of financial data Knowledge of automotive diagnostics and mechanical systems enhances your ability to assist technicians effectively Join us in delivering exceptional automotive care while building your career in a lively, supportive environment.
