We are now bringing that same standard of excellence into a multidisciplinary wellness clinic designed to offer a concierge-level experience that goes beyond traditional healthcare standards. This is a unique opportunity for a Thermographer who values professionalism, collaboration, and growth. You'll have the opportunity to bring your existing clients and grow your practice within a respected, established wellness brand while being supported by our high standards for client care, operational excellence, and client experience. You'll also have the opportunity to receive internal referrals from our functional medicine client base seeking high-quality complementary wellness services. Our clinic leadership is growth-minded and deeply invested in creating long-term success for our team. With a professional environment, operational support, and a collaborative team culture, you'll be able to focus on what you do best: delivering exceptional service and meaningful client results. To succeed in this role, you'll need strong technical skills, excellent communication, organization, and a commitment to high-quality client care. We're looking for someone who brings warmth, professionalism, and a grounded presence that helps clients feel safe, supported, and understood. The ideal candidate values a functional medicine approach, has a clear and confident understanding of thermographic technician scope of practice, and is excited to support clients through collaborative, whole-person care that helps them achieve stronger outcomes.
Duties & Expectations:
Deliver exceptional clinical thermography imaging services in accordance with your training, certifications, Ann Arbor Holistic Health standards, and professional scope of practice; all imaging services are performed for non-diagnostic, informational purposes only and do not constitute clinical interpretation, diagnosis, or medical decision-making of any kind. Provide all thermography services within the scope permitted under Michigan law and all applicable professional and regulatory standards, maintaining strict adherence to thermographic technician scope of practice at all times. Operate thermographic imaging equipment with technical precision and consistency, following all established protocols for image acquisition, client positioning, environmental preparation, and session quality. Conduct thorough client intakes, health history reviews, and contraindication screenings to support safe, appropriate, and individualized service delivery. Prepare clients thoroughly for each session, explaining the imaging process, environmental acclimation requirements, what to expect during and after the session, and the informational (rather than diagnostic) nature of thermographic services, using clear and accurate scope-appropriate language in all client interactions and documentation. Maintain strict HIPAA compliance standards as they apply to clinical imaging, including appropriate handling, storage, transmission, and protection of all client imaging data and records. Develop individualized service plans based on each client's wellness goals and areas of interest, adjusting recommendations as needed based on progress and client feedback. Reinforce recommended imaging cadence and help support client follow-through, continuity of service, and long-term engagement. Maintain an exceptional imaging environment that is safe, clean, calm, and professionally organized while consistently upholding all environmental, sanitation, and equipment maintenance standards required for accurate and high-quality thermographic imaging. Maintain accurate, timely, and complete documentation of client records, session notes, imaging logs, and service history in all relevant systems, ensuring all documentation reflects the informational and non-diagnostic nature of services provided. Communicate warmly and professionally with clients and team members to create a supportive, cohesive, and organized client experience. Respond to client and team inquiries in a timely, thoughtful, and professional manner, consistently reinforcing appropriate scope-of-practice boundaries when discussing imaging results or client health questions. Collaborate with clinic leadership and other wellness providers when appropriate to support whole-person client care, cross-referrals, and complementary services. Proactively support client retention by assisting with follow-up scheduling, reinforcing service recommendations, and helping re-engage clients who have fallen off track. Handle sensitive or complex client situations with professionalism and discretion, escalating concerns to leadership when appropriate. Participate in cross-functional collaboration, clinic communication and administrative meetings, including monthly training meetings as needed. Support positive relationships with referral partners and represent Ann Arbor Holistic Health professionally in all community interactions.
