In this pivotal role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for customers bringing their vehicles in for maintenance and repairs. Your expertise will ensure a seamless experience, from initial vehicle intake to the completion of service, all while fostering trust and satisfaction. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge automotive technology and be part of a reputable dealership dedicated to excellence. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and listen carefully to understand their vehicle concerns and service needs Prepare detailed service estimates using auto estimating software, ensuring transparency and accuracy Communicate effectively with technicians regarding vehicle diagnostics, repairs, and recommended services Upsell additional services such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake repairs, alignments, suspension work, and transmission services to enhance customer value Manage the service writing process, documenting all work performed and parts used clearly and thoroughly Coordinate with mechanics and service technicians to prioritize repairs like diesel engine repair, auto body work, air brake systems, shocks & struts, and wheel alignments Handle cash transactions accurately and maintain proper records of all financial dealings Foster strong relationships with customers by providing expert advice on vehicle maintenance and repair options Skills Proven dealership experience with a solid understanding of automotive service management and customer relations Extensive knowledge of automotive diagnostics, mechanical systems, and repair procedures including transmissions, oil changes, brake repair, suspension, tire service, diesel engines, shocks & struts, auto body repair, air brake systems, and wheel alignments Strong mechanical knowledge complemented by hands-on mechanic or service technician experience Ability to offer services confidently while maintaining integrity and customer trust Skilled in auto estimating software and service writing practices for accurate documentation Excellent communication skills to explain technical issues clearly to customers of varying technical backgrounds Experience handling cash transactions with precision and professionalism Knowledge of automobile sales processes is a plus but not required Join us in delivering top-tier automotive care where your skills make a real difference!
