The Role:
to support patients by assisting with the selection and purchase of medical supplies, while providing exceptional customer service in a friendly and professional environment. This includes processing transactions, managing inventory, and ensuring all orders are accurately generated with proper documentation and insurance verification.
Schedule:
Monday-Friday | 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM What We're Looking For High School Diploma or equivalent Minimum 1-2 years of experience in retail, customer service, or a medical office setting Familiarity with basic medical terminology and medical insurance processes is a plus Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a high degree of empathy and patience Skilled with point-of-sale (POS) systems and inventory software What You'll Be Doing Greet customers, assess their medical equipment needs, and recommend appropriate products. Instruct patients and caregivers on the safe and proper use, care, and maintenance of their durable medical equipment. Collect and verify patient demographics, prescriptions, and insurance information. Receive, unpack, build, and stock merchandise. Keep the retail floor clean, organized, and visually appealing to ensure a safe environment for customers with limited mobility.
