Deli Attendant / Customer Service

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Deli Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while preparing and serving high-quality deli products. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a commitment to maintaining food safety and sanitation standards. You will play a key role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers, ensuring their satisfaction with every visit. Responsibilities Engage with customers to provide excellent service, answer questions, and assist with product selections. Upsell products to enhance the customer experience and increase sales. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the deli area, adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines. Handle cash transactions accurately while ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours in a fast-paced environment. Perform bussing duties as necessary to maintain a tidy dining area for customers. Experience Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor and willingness to assist customers. Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing inventory effectively. Knowledge of food handling practices, sanitation standards, and food safety regulations is preferred.
