Job Description

Our success is built on a team-oriented culture where employees are valued, respected, and given opportunities to grow. We are seeking a full-time Transport Dispatcher to join our team. This position plays a vital role in coordinating transportation operations, supporting drivers, and ensuring the safe, timely, and efficient delivery of products to our customers. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. This job has a unique schedule for the right person. We are seeking someone who is available to work 8 days on and then 6 days off. Dispatches and arranges schedules for drivers and vehicles; assign driver routes, destinations, and timelines Coordinates with drivers to resolve any issues, problems, or concerns that arise during delivery Dispatches drivers in a systematic order to ensure there is no overlapping or backtracking of routes Collaborates with stores and advises of drivers' schedules; addresses any concerns or route changes Reviews reports to identify priority for deliveries to ensure that locations have an adequate supply of petroleum products Manage and prioritize incoming calls; respond to fuel outages; work with Transport Manager to resolve issues Identify and assess customers' needs to achieve satisfaction Build sustainable relationships and trust with customer accounts through open and interactive communication Provide accurate, valid and complete information by using the right methods/tools Handle customer complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits; follow up to ensure resolution Keep records of customer interactions, process customer accounts and file documents Follow communication procedures, guidelines and policies; providing timely communication of critical events to be considered and/or addressed by Management Take the extra mile to engage customers Skills Previous dispatch experience preferred Knowledge of fuel tanker operations preferred Proven customer support experience Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different types of characters & situations Excellent communication skills, verbal & written Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively Strong organization & collaborative skills
Pay:
From $20.00 per hour
