    Stephens Family Agency Inc
  • Farm Bureau Insurance is looking to add a Customer Service Representative to our team!
The primary purpose of this position is to answer phones, e-mails, and text messages, greet clients who visit our office, provide support for current and prospective clients, and support agency staff.
Employment Qualifications:
1. High School Diploma. 2. State of Michigan Property Casualty License or willingness to obtain immediately (expenses reimbursed after 3 months of employment). 3. 1 year working in an office environment. 4. Excellent communication skills

5. Reliable and professional. 6. Possess a sense of urgency, attention to detail, organization, multi-tasking, and follow-up skills, and the ability to handle difficult situations with clients and solve complex problems without direct supervision.
Duties:
1. Answer phones and greet in office clients. 2. Create insurance quotes. 3. Use a client-focused, needs-based review process to educate clients about insurance options. 4. Set appointments and/or client calls or support a producer to review existing policies, review liability limits and exposures, explore other coverage needs, evaluate replacement costs, round out accounts, bind renewals, and cancel old policies. 5. Resolve product or service issues by clarifying the client's concern, determining the cause of the issue, selecting and explaining the best solution to solve the issue, expediting correction or adjustment, and following up to ensure resolution. 6. Prepare client files for agent insurance reviews. 7. Collect premium payments from clients. 8. Develop leads and schedule appointments. 9. Prepare bank deposits.
