Job Description

MFP is a leader in the fluid power industry specializing in hydraulics, pneumatics, automatic lubrication systems, and electrical automation. Our approach to the market is from a technical, problem-solving aspect to best meet our customers' needs. Educating our customers about the advancements in automation technology has become the underlying theme for MFP Automation Engineering and continues to be a source of growth for our company. MFP is looking to hire a dedicated individual to join our team as a Customer Service Representative.

Position :
The Customer Service Representative is a key point of connection between our customers, suppliers, and internal teams. This role supports customers across a variety of industries by delivering prompt, accurate, and professional service all while developing a strong working understanding of motion control technologies. We want someone excited to learn technical concepts, manage complex situations, and provide high caliber customer support in a fast-paced environment.
Job Responsibilities :
Serve as a primary contact for customers - handling inquires, quotations, orders, returns and delivery status updates Translate customer needs into clear, actionable requests for internal teams and supplier partners Support customers with product selection at a conceptual and application level, escalating detailed technical questions as necessary Manage a high volume of transactions while maintaining accuracy, responsiveness, and professionalism Coordinate with sales, warehouse, purchasing and engineering teams to ensure customer requirements are met Maintain documentation and records within ERP/CRM systems Resolve issues and service concerns with urgency, ownership and appropriate follow-through Contribute to long-term relationships by providing consistent, reliable service levels
Preferred Qualifications :
Previous experience in customer service within a fast-paced environment Industrial, manufacturing, distribution, or technical experience or exposure Strong computer proficiency and ability to learn new software systems quickly Professional communication skills both verbal and written Organized, strong attention to detail, and ability to prioritize under pressure Active listening and problem-solving mindset Team-oriented, dependable, and accountable Continuous improvement attitude with a drive for efficiency
Supervisory Responsibility :
None Working Conditions :
Office environment with most time spent at a desk. Some time spent on the production floor.
Job Type:

$20.00 - $35.00 per hour
