Job Description
GENERAL SUMMARY
The purpose of this job is to provide front-line customer service and clerical support for the Friend of the Court by delivering accurate case-specific information, processing legal and administrative documents, and ensuring efficient communication with the public and internal staff. The position serves as the primary point of contact for clients and external agencies while maintaining the integrity and confidentiality of sensitive informationESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Answer incoming phone calls from clients and outside agencies; provide accurate information in accordance with State rules and regulations and route inquiries appropriately. Serve as the first point of contact for the public, responding to questions regarding case status, policies, and procedures. Assist customers at the front counter, including handling forms, updating information, and de-escalating difficult situations. Process high volumes of incoming and outgoing mail, ensuring timely and accurate distribution to appropriate staff. Process returned mail, update addresses, and maintain accurate records in the case management system. Scan and upload documents into the case management system, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and legibility. Retrieve court orders and employment notices from state systems and distribute them for processing. Maintain and protect confidential client, financial, and IRS-related information in compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Provide clerical and administrative support to enforcement staff, including report generation and interjurisdictional communication. Communicate effectively with other jurisdictions, agencies, and internal staff regarding case information. Maintain accurate electronic and paper records and ensure proper documentation of all activities. Perform related work as required.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Required Education and Experience 6 months + training beyond High School 1 to 3 years of related work experience, such as experience with customer service, clerical work, phone systems, and computer applications Any equivalent combination of training, education, and experience that provides the required skills, knowledge, and abilitiesRequired Licenses or Certifications None Starting Salary:
