Customer Service Representative Russell Tobin Melvindale, MI Russell Tobin's client is hiring a Customer Service Representative in
Melvindale, MI Employment Type:
Contract Location:
Onsite - Melvindale, MI 48122 Pay rate: $16-$17.36/hr
Responsibilities:
Handle high-volume inbound and outbound calls (40-60 inbound, 10-20 outbound daily). Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and text messaging. Perform accurate data entry and order processing, including frame ordering. Conduct research and follow-through on customer requests (5-15 minutes per case). Resolve customer issues using internal systems and tools. Escalate unresolved concerns appropriately. Maintain professionalism and deliver a positive customer experience. Collaborate effectively within a team environment.
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED required. Strong computer skills and ability to navigate multiple systems. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities. Ability to manage high call volumes and multitask efficiently. Comfortable handling incoming and outgoing calls daily.
Nice to have:
Prior customer service or call center experience. Optical industry experience is a plus. Experience with Microsoft Excel (creating spreadsheets/formulas). Familiarity with DVI software (order entry and job lookup).
