Job Description

At Forest Lake Ford, we understand the importance of community and family values. Our experienced sales and service staff embody this ethos, bringing a personalized touch and a deep knowledge of Ford vehicles to every interaction. We are looking for a Lead Service Advisor to join our growing team! The Lead Service Advisor supports the daily operations of the Ford service department by assisting customers, coordinating repair orders, supporting service advisors, and helping ensure consistent communication, workflow, and customer satisfaction. This role provides leadership on the service drive while maintaining strong relationships with customers, technicians, parts staff, and management.
Schedule:
Monday - Friday + Rotating Saturdays, afternoon and evening shifts. Greet customers in a professional and timely manner, listen to service concerns, and document customer needs accurately on repair orders. Advise customers on recommended maintenance, repairs, warranty coverage, recalls, timelines, and estimated costs in accordance with dealership and Ford service standards. Serve as a lead point of contact on the service drive by assisting Service Advisors with customer questions, workflow issues, repair order concerns, and daily service processes. Review repair orders for accuracy, completeness, proper documentation, customer authorization, pricing, and required approvals before work is performed or closed. Coordinate with Service Technicians, Parts, Warranty, and Service Management to help ensure repairs are completed efficiently and customers are updated throughout the service process. Support customer satisfaction by providing clear communication, timely follow-up, and assistance with resolving customer concerns or escalated service issues. Assist with training, mentoring, and coaching Service Advisors on dealership procedures, Ford service expectations, customer communication, and repair order processes. Monitor daily service drive activity, appointment flow, work-in customers, carryover repairs, and communication needs to help maintain an organized and productive department. Maintain a professional, team-oriented, and accountable work environment while following dealership policies, safety standards, manufacturer guidelines, and management direction. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. Extensive knowledge of financial markets and investment strategies. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Basic understanding of automotive systems and repair processed preferred High school diploma or equivalent required Previous experience as a service advisor, automotive environment, or customer-facing role preferred. May be exposed to noise, dust and weather elements Fast-paced, team-oriented environment Exposure to vehicle exhaust, fumes, cleaning chemicals
Compensation and Benefits:
