Job Description

Serving our customers by providing delivery service updates, resolving service issues, processing orders, preparing correspondences and fulfilling customer needs to ensure complete customer satisfaction.
Duties Include:
  • Answering customer inquiries regarding their delivery status.
  • Working directly with fleet staff obtaining delivery status updates.
  • Creating and maintaining reports, multiple times per day, documenting all late deliveries, assessing reason codes and implementing processes for improvement.
  • Collecting all driver paperwork, scanning and uploading documents for customer review.
  • Resolve service problems by clarifying the customer's complaint; determining the cause of the problem; selecting and explaining the best solution to solve the problem; expediting correction or adjustment; following up to ensure resolution.
  • Filing and maintaining a professional, organized and efficient work space.
  • Managing all incoming phone calls.
  • Updating customer internet portals with Delivery Status and POD information.
  • Calling "Final-Mile" customers and scheduling a date and time for delivery. Documenting all customer related correspondence allowing all team members direct access and history to the customer's experience.
  • Working with dispatch, shipping & receiving to accomplish problem resolution.
  • Building sustainable relationships of trust through open and interactive communication.
Basic Requirements:
  • Proven customer support experience
  • Track record of over-achievements
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and general practices
  • Customer orientation and the ability to adapt/respond to different types of personalities
  • Strong phone handling skills
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively
  • High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
