Conduct product demos when applicable, highlighting features and benefits to encourage sales. Upsell relevant products and add-on items to maximize sales opportunities while ensuring customer satisfaction. Maintain merchandising standards by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring products are well-presented. Handle cash, credit card payments, and other payment methods with precision, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed. Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when taking orders or addressing customer inquiries remotely. Support inventory management through stock replenishment and assisting with inventory counts as needed. Promote a positive shopping environment through friendly communication skills and proactive engagement with customers. Assist in product knowledge sharing by providing product demos and explaining features to customers. Experience Previous cashiering or retail sales experience is preferred but not required; we value enthusiasm and a willingness to learn! Bilingual abilities are a plus, enabling us to serve a diverse customer base effectively. Strong communication skills are essential for engaging with customers and team members alike. Basic math skills are necessary for handling cash transactions accurately and performing retail math calculations. Experience with POS systems or familiarity with grocery store operations is advantageous but not mandatory. Supervising experience is beneficial for those interested in growth opportunities within the team.
