Press Operator and Printer

Job Summary Smitten On Paper is a small, creative team looking for a full-time Press Operator who is passionate about stationery, invitation design, and fine craftsmanship. We're seeking someone eager to grow alongside our company and contribute to maintaining the exceptional quality our work is known for. The ideal candidate is a quick learner with a positive attitude, strong attention to detail, and a willingness to jump in wherever needed. This role requires someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, can manage tight production timelines, and takes pride in producing beautiful, high-quality printed pieces. A general knowledge of letterpress and foil printing is required, and prior printing experience is a plus. Most importantly, we value adaptability, work ethic, and enthusiasm. We're happy to train the right person in our specialized printing processes and standards. This is a full-time, in-studio position based in Blue Eye, Missouri. • Kluge Foil Stamping Presses 2
• Indigo Digital Presses 1
• 52di Offset Press Develop a workflow for turning the press over quickly, must be able to print multiple short-run custom projects in one day Cut paper for orders Maintain a tidy workspace and print shop Clean and perform routine maintenance on presses Meet deadlines to get orders out in a timely manner'Work closely with the Pre-Press Manager to problem solve Qualifications Experience with printing on a motorized letterpress Ability to solve problems with printing Attention to fine detail and print quality Friendly and responsible Extremely organized and a self-directed worker Must be available to work full-time out of our Blue Eye, Missouri studio Contact Please send your resume, relevant work experience and hourly pay rate to: orders@smittenonpaper.
