Minimum 2 years in trucking, transportation, logistics, or brokerage customer service Job Overview Pulse Transportation Services is looking for an experienced Trucking Customer Service Representative / Operations Support team member to support our daily trucking operation. This is not a call-center position. This is a hands-on transportation role where accuracy, communication, and follow-through help keep freight moving, paperwork clean, and customers informed. The right candidate will be comfortable working in multiple systems, communicating with customers and internal teams, reviewing freight paperwork, assisting with invoicing, scanning documents, and keeping shipment information accurate from order entry through billing. We are a family-owned trucking company with an established customer base, steady freight, and a team-oriented office environment. Responsibilities Communicate with customers regarding shipment status, scheduling, delivery updates, and service questions Enter and update customer orders accurately in the company's transportation system Coordinate with dispatch, drivers, warehouse teams, and billing to resolve shipment issues Review bills of lading, proof of delivery documents, delivery receipts, and other shipment paperwork for accuracy Scan, upload, and organize freight documents in the appropriate systems Assist with invoicing support, document review, and billing preparation Perform accurate data entry across multiple software platforms Monitor email, phone calls, customer portals, and system updates throughout the day Help identify and resolve discrepancies related to shipment information, paperwork, or billing Maintain professional and service-focused relationships with customers and internal team members Requirements Minimum 2 years of customer service experience in trucking, freight brokerage, transportation, or logistics Strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy Comfortable working in multiple software systems throughout the day Experience handling shipment paperwork, scanning documents, and maintaining digital records Familiarity with invoicing, billing support, or freight document review Strong written and verbal communication skills Organized, dependable, detail-oriented, and able to follow established processes Comfortable communicating with customers, drivers, dispatchers, warehouse teams, and billing staff Preferred Experience Experience using a Transportation Management System Prior experience in LTL, truckload, local delivery, brokerage, or regional trucking operations Familiarity with BOLs, PODs, accessorial charges, customer portals, and freight invoicing Experience with Microsoft Office, scanning platforms, and other business software systems Benefits Starting pay of $20.00 per hour Paid time off Health insurance Dental insurance Vision insurance 401(k) with 4% matching contribution Steady, full-time schedule Supportive team environment Opportunity to grow within an established transportation company If you are an experienced Customer Service Representative who understands the pace of trucking, takes pride in the accuracy of your work, and wants to be part of a growing transportation company, we want to talk with you.
