Job Description

Modern Motorcars Service Center is where high standards are the baseline. We work on everything from daily drivers to high-end Euro and EVs, and we treat every customer like a VIP—because that's what we'd expect if it were our vehicle. We're hiring a Service Advisor who can own the front line: greet customers with confidence, build trust quickly, communicate clearly, and keep work moving from check-in to delivery. If you like being the person who makes the whole shop run smoother—and you take pride in doing things the right way—this is the role. Why this role is worth your time You're not a "counter person." You're the trusted guide for the customer and the key connector between customer, techs, and management. You'll work in a shop that values quality, communication, and follow-through. You'll be part of a team that cares about doing the job well, protecting the customer experience, and continuously improving. What you'll do (day to day) Greet customers, build repair plans, and guide them from scheduling → check-in → updates → delivery Write accurate estimates and repair orders based on technician findings Explain recommendations clearly and confidently, and sell needed maintenance/repairs ethically Recommend time/mileage-based maintenance and help customers plan ahead Follow up on declined services and recommended work (because details matter) Provide proactive customer updates when work is progressing, delayed, or completed Answer questions about repairs, pricing, timelines, and next steps in a calm, professional way Handle payments and close out repair orders cleanly Manage loaner vehicles (check-in/out, readiness, cleanliness, tracking software) Keep customer-facing areas and your workspace clean, organized, and professional Ask for and follow up on Google reviews—great service deserves to be seen What we're looking for Strong customer communication and a professional presence (you can build trust fast) Solid automotive knowledge—you understand how a shop works and can explain repairs in plain English Organized, accurate, and comfortable working inside software and systems all day Comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced environment without dropping the ball Reliable, team-first, and coachable (we want people who improve and help others improve) Schedule Full-time Monday-Friday, 7:45am-5:30pm (1-hour lunch) Ready to apply? If you want a position where your communication skills, organization, and professionalism directly impact customer satisfaction—and you want to work for a company that takes pride in doing things right—apply on Indeed with your resume.
