Full Job Description Description:
TranSource Truck & Equipment, Inc. is a growing company representing Mack Trucks, Volvo Trucks and Volvo Construction Equipment, along with being the Servicing Dealer for multiple other product lines that support the On Highway, Construction and Agriculture Industry. Due to growth, we are currently looking to hire a Service Advisor at our Billings location. At TranSource Truck & Equipment, we're committed to delivering exceptional products and services to our customers. Our team is growing, and we're looking for a detail-oriented, organized, and proactive Service Advisor to support our service department and help us continue building strong client relationships.
Primary Responsibilities:
Greet customers and answer phone calls throughout the workday. Report to the Service Manager and work closely with the Service Technicians, Parts and Sales Department. Schedule service appointments and advise customers about necessary services for routine maintenance. Communicate with customers about inspection results, recommend corrective procedures, and prepare work order for needed and approved repairs. Prepares a repair order showing time, cost and labor estimates for services needed. Check on progress of repair orders throughout the day, to ensure timely completion. Communicate with customer on progress of the job and any additional repairs that are required. Maintains high customer satisfaction standards. Responsible to keep skills up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, & dealer standards per OEM.
Requirements:
2-year technical degree or several years of comparable shop experience Positive attitude and desire to provide outstanding and professional customer service Excellent written, verbal and computer skills Must have experience with parts or equipment. Excellent customer service skills Ability to maintain safe and clean work environment Must be able to pass a drug and background screening and have an insurable driving record.
