Job Description
Job Summary The Wellness Technician plays a vital role in supporting clients through a variety of rotating therapeutic modalities designed to promote brain and nervous system regulation. This position ensures the highest level of client safety and comfort, facilitates a consistent and supportive experience, and maintains accurate and thorough documentation of client sessions and compliance with wellness protocols. Responsibilities Guide clients through scheduled therapeutic modalities, including but not limited to hyperbaric oxygen therapy, sauna and cold plunge, virtual reality therapy, red light therapy, balance exercises, neurofeedback and other integrative modalities. Provide virtual guidance for at home clients. Monitor and assess client safety and comfort during all wellness sessions. Provide clear instructions and ongoing support for clients during their programs with us. Set up, clean, and maintain session rooms and equipment in accordance with hygiene and safety protocols. Accurately chart client attendance, responses, compliance, and any notable reactions or feedback in client charts. Communicate promptly with clinical or supervisory staff regarding any client concerns, contraindications, or irregularities. Educate clients about the purpose and benefits of each modality as appropriate. Uphold confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations and internal policies. Support the overall flow and energy of the wellness center to ensure a welcoming, nurturing environment. Occasional admin tasks, as needed.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a wellness, clinical, or holistic health setting is a plus. CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain). Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a calm, grounding presence. Detail-oriented with excellent documentation skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and respond effectively to client needs.Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand, walk, and assist clients for extended periods. Capability to lift or move up to 25 lbs as needed. Comfortable working around water, heat, and cold exposure from therapeutic equipment. All training provided. During training period pay will be $17/hour then $20/hour once training is complete and independent work is established.
