Customer Service Representative

Position Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to join our team. This role is responsible for providing exceptional support to customers, processing orders, and supporting internal purchasing activities by creating company purchase orders and ordering supplies.

Key Responsibilities:

Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries via phone and email Process customer orders accurately and efficiently Develop and manage plant manufacturing schedules to align production with customer demand and order priorities Coordinate with production and shipping teams to ensure timely delivery Provide product information, pricing, and lead times Resolve customer issues and complaints in a professional manner Maintain accurate customer records and order details Create and process company purchase orders for materials and supplies Order office and production-related supplies as needed and track deliveries Work with vendors to confirm pricing, availability, and delivery timelines Support outside sales representatives as needed

Qualifications:

Previous customer service or inside sales experience (manufacturing experience preferred) Experience with purchasing, vendor coordination, or purchase order creation preferred Strong communication and problem-solving skills High attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Proficiency in Microsoft Office (ERP system experience a plus)

Pay:

$20.00 - $22.00 per hour
