Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Customer Service Associate / Cashier! In this vibrant role, you will be the face of our hemp/vape shop, providing exceptional service to our customers while efficiently handling transactions. You'll engage with shoppers, assist them in finding products, and ensure a smooth checkout experience. What you'll do Deliver outstanding customer service by greeting and assisting customers with their inquiries and purchases. Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system to process transactions accurately and efficiently. Handle cash transactions with precision, ensuring adherence to cash handling procedures. Upsell products and promote special offers to enhance customer satisfaction and store sales. Maintain an organized and visually appealing merchandise display to attract customers. Stock shelves and ensure product availability while monitoring inventory levels. Conduct product demonstrations to educate customers about new items and promotions. Exhibit excellent phone etiquette when answering customer calls or inquiries. Basic qualifications Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers. Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing. Preferred qualifications Previous experience in retail sales or customer service roles. Bilingual abilities are a plus for enhancing customer interactions. Supervising experience is beneficial for potential leadership opportunities within the team. Familiarity with retail math concepts to assist in inventory management.
