Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and provide friendly, professional assistance throughout their shopping experience Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system efficiently to process sales, returns, and exchanges with accuracy Handle cash, credit card, and mobile payments confidently, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed Upsell products by suggesting relevant items and product demos to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales Maintain organized merchandising displays and stock shelves to ensure an attractive shopping environment Assist with stocking and inventory management to keep the store well-supplied and organized Provide exceptional customer service by addressing questions, resolving issues promptly, and maintaining phone etiquette when assisting remotely or over the phone Skills Proficiency with POS systems and cash handling procedures in a retail or grocery store setting Prior supervising experience is a plus for leadership opportunities within the team Ability to perform retail math accurately for transactions, discounts, and inventory counts Strong communication skills in both bilingual (if applicable) and clear verbal interactions with customers and team members Experience conducting product demos and upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities Knowledge of merchandising, stocking, and inventory management best practices Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude, patience, and problem-solving abilities This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to grow their retail career while delivering outstanding service.
