Client Service Representative (Veterinary Receptionist)

Oakes Animal Hospital is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and team-oriented Client Service Representative to join our growing veterinary team full-time. We are a private, family-owned general practice caring for cats and dogs. Position Details Full-time:

averaging 34-42 hours per week

Pay:

$14-17/hour based on veterinary receptionist experience Responsibilities Serve as a liaison between clients, assistants/technicians, and doctors Greet clients and patients warmly and professionally Check in patients and manage appointment flow Schedule appointments Process payments including cash, checks, and credit/debit cards Discuss financial arrangement options including Scratchpay, All Pet Card, and CareCredit Answer phones, texts, and emails Manage patient records and data entry Submit referrals to specialty hospitals Provide client education and support Handle prescription requests and fill prescriptions Assist with patient care including animal restraint, administering medications/injections/vaccinations, and obtaining patient samples Maintain cleanliness of exam rooms and lobby/reception areas Work collaboratively as part of a team And more Benefits Pet discount after 90 days Health, dental, and vision insurance after 90 days PTO after 6 months Uniform allowance after 1 year Simple IRA with company match after 1 year Qualifications Veterinary receptionist experience preferred Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills Comfortable working with both people and animals If you are passionate about veterinary medicine, client care, and working in a supportive team environment, we would love to hear from you.
