Job Description

Overview Beds By Design is seeking a dedicated and dynamic Customer Service Associate to join our vibrant team. This role is a part time, evenings and weekends, hourly position, but can grow into a full-time position for the right candidate. We specialize in high-quality, handcrafted mattresses made in-store and sold directly to consumers. In this role, you will serve as the frontline representative for our organization, providing exceptional support to clients and customers across diverse channels. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure customer satisfaction through effective communication, problem-solving, and personalized service. The ideal candidate will be reliable, punctual, possess excellent communication skills, and a proactive attitude to foster positive client relationships and uphold our commitment to outstanding service. Duties Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries via phone, email, text or walk in customers, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette and both verbal and written communication skills. Provide comprehensive customer support by addressing questions, resolving issues, and offering tailored solutions. Assist clients with product or service information, guiding them through processes such as new purchases, scheduling warranty services, or account inquiries. Conduct outbound calling campaigns to existing customer base to follow up with customers post sale, gather feedback and reviews, or promote new offerings. Manage data entry tasks accurately within various software platforms, including Point of Sale (POS), and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems. Handle cash transactions securely when applicable, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed. Maintain detailed records of interactions, transactions, and client preferences to support ongoing client services. Collaborate with team members across departments to resolve complex issues efficiently and improve overall customer experience. Generalized cleaning to maintain an inviting environment for customers. Experience Previous experience in customer service or customer support roles is required. Proven ability in outbound calling and client engagement strategies is desirable. Strong computer skills with proficiency in the Google Suite and data management tools. Familiarity with sales techniques and upselling strategies is advantageous, but not required. Demonstrated attention to detail with typing skills that ensure accurate documentation. Excellent analysis skills for assessing customer needs and providing appropriate solutions.
Pay:
From $15.00 per hour
