Job Description

Position Summary Pinkerton Animal Hospital is seeking a professional, compassionate, and dependable Client Service Representative to join our growing team. The CSR provides excellent client service while supporting the doctors, technicians, and hospital team in a fast-paced veterinary environment. Key Responsibilities Greet clients and patients in a friendly and professional manner. Answer and manage a high volume of phone calls. Schedule and confirm appointments accurately. Check clients in and out and process payments. Handle cash, credit card, and other payment transactions accurately. Maintain accurate client and patient records. Process prescription and medication requests according to hospital protocols. Communicate client concerns and questions to the appropriate medical team member. Explain hospital policies, services, estimates, and billing information professionally. Maintain an organized and efficient front desk. Support the veterinary team and assist other departments when needed. Handle difficult or emotional client situations calmly and professionally. Maintain confidentiality and follow hospital, safety, and workplace policies. Requirements Excellent customer service and communication skills. Professional, friendly, and compassionate demeanor. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Reliable attendance and punctuality. Ability to accurately handle cash, credit cards, payments, and daily financial transactions. Basic computer skills and ability to learn veterinary practice-management software. Ability to maintain confidentiality and protect client information. Ability to communicate professionally with clients and coworkers. Ability to follow established hospital policies and procedures. Ability to work independently while also being a strong team player. Ability to remain calm and professional during difficult client interactions. Previous veterinary, medical, reception, or customer-service experience preferred. Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is dependable, organized, detail-oriented, comfortable with financial transactions, and able to provide excellent customer service while effectively managing multiple priorities.
