Duties Operate cash registers and POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process sales accurately and efficiently. Handle cash, credit card, and other payment transactions with precision while providing friendly customer service. Assist customers with food preparation, food handling, and managing their orders in a quick-service environment. Maintain cleanliness of the workspace, including sanitizing counters, equipment, and ensuring food safety standards are met. Support food industry operations by assisting with food service tasks like bussing tables or stocking shelves when needed. Upsell products and promote sales by engaging customers with friendly suggestions and product knowledge. Operate kitchen equipment safely when required and assist in basic food preparation or snack assembly. Skills Previous experience in quick service restaurants, grocery stores, or retail sales is highly desirable. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process transactions smoothly. Strong math skills for processing cash transactions and giving accurate change. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally. Knowledge of food safety management, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures. Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while maintaining attention to detail. Experience with food preparation, culinary techniques, or kitchen operations is a plus.
