Full-time including rotating SaturdaysSBW is seeking a motivated and experienced banking professional to join our award-winning customer service retail banking team. We are searching for a Universal Banker (Customer Service Banker) at our Walpole, NH branch. SBW was recently named one of American Bankers Best Banks to Work for for its 8th consecutive year.

Starting pay begins at $21.63 per hour and is negotiable based on level of experience

JOB REQUIREMENTS/DESIRED EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or GEDMinimum one year experience in customer service and/or cash handling role Experience utilizing software applications to perform customer service duties Strong interpersonal and organizational skills Must be able to work rotating SaturdaysAbility to travel between branch locations as neededPrior bank teller transaction knowledge a plus but not required

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Maintains a working knowledge of banking products and services while promoting them to the customerDemonstrates openness and willingness to switch between the teller and customer service positions as the needs ariseComplete individual and business account deposit/withdrawal transactions, account opening and maintenance activities including checking, savings and time deposits Provide a professional customer service experience while obtaining new business opportunity referrals through needs based inquiry Responds to questions and resolve problems or concerns for customers effectively and efficiently We believe in building genuine partnerships that encompass top of the line customer service delivered by a culture of teamwork, integrity and excellence.
