As we continue to expand, we are looking for a dependable and customer-focused Customer Service Representative (CSR) to join our team and help deliver an outstanding customer experience. Position Summary The Customer Service Representative (CSR) serves as the first point of contact for our customers, providing excellent service over the phone and helping guide customers through the booking and service process. This role is responsible for handling inbound customer inquiries, scheduling appointments, supporting dispatch coordination, following booking procedures, and ensuring customers remain informed throughout the service experience. Key Responsibilities Customer Service Answer incoming calls professionally and provide excellent customer service Assist customers with inquiries, appointment scheduling, and service requests Handle customer concerns with professionalism and empathy Keep customers informed regarding appointment timing, delays, or schedule updates Maintain a positive and helpful customer experience throughout every interaction Scheduling & Dispatch Support Schedule service appointments accurately and efficiently Ensure calls are booked following company procedures Coordinate scheduling based on technician availability and service areas Support dispatch coordination to ensure appointments are assigned appropriately Update job statuses, notes, and tags accurately in the system Payment & Administrative Support Confirm customer information is complete and accurate Ensure payment methods are collected and credit cards are on file when required Assist in confirming completed jobs have been properly invoiced Support general administrative tasks related to customer service operations Communication & Accuracy Maintain organized and accurate customer records Communicate clearly with both customers and internal team members Ensure service details and scheduling information are documented properly Assist in maintaining workflow efficiency across the office Qualifications Required Previous customer service experience Strong communication and interpersonal skills Excellent phone etiquette Strong organizational and multitasking abilities Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment Basic computer proficiency and experience using office software or CRM systems Ability to commute to or relocate to Cape May Court House, NJ Preferred Experience in plumbing, HVAC, home services, or similar industries Dispatch or scheduling experience Experience handling customer payments or service coordination Schedule Monday to Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM 30-minute lunch break Some Saturdays and overtime as needed Compensation & Benefits Compensation Starting at $22/hour , depending on experience Performance-based incentives Growth opportunities within the company Benefits (after 90-day probationary period) Health insurance Dental insurance Vision insurance 401(k) 401(k) matching Paid time off Optional customized benefits package Work Location In Person Cape May Court House, NJ 08210
