This 13-week contract role offers a unique opportunity for experienced Registered Nurses to work closely with expert teams performing advanced radiologic procedures. As an RN in IR, you'll play a key role in patient care before, during, and after minimally invasive interventions.

Schedule/Hours:

5 days per week 7.5-hour shifts Rotating through the following shifts: 7:00 am

• 3:00 pm, 7:30 am
• 3:30 pm, 8:00 am
• 4:00 pm, or 9:00 am
• 5:00 pm

Qualifications:

Active NJ RN License Current BLS and ACLS certifications Previous experience in Interventional Radiology nursing (preferred) Strong clinical assessment and IV skills Ability to respond calmly and effectively in emergency situations Excellent collaboration and communication abilities

Primary Responsibilities:

Provide pre-procedure, intra-procedure, and post-procedure nursing care for patients undergoing IR procedures Monitor patient vital signs and sedation levels, ensuring patient safety at all times Collaborate closely with radiologists, technologists, and other interdisciplinary team members Educate patients and families about procedures, recovery, and post-care instructions Maintain accurate documentation and uphold compliance with all regulatory requirements Recognize and intervene in adverse reactions or complications promptly
