Job Description:
Customer Service Specialist Reports to: ReStore Manager, and Executive Director The Habitat Cape May ReStore is looking for an experienced, outgoing, and highly self-motivated person to lead our customer service initiative. If you have retail customer service experience, are a creative problem solver, appreciate an evolving work environment, and want to make a difference in your community, please contact us. General Requirements Understanding of and support for Habitat for Humanity mission. Ability to coordinate, delegate and oversee multiple work activities. Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and commitment to quality control. Strong people and communication skills. Physical ability to perform tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds and being on one's feet for long periods of time. History of Customer Service excellence Creative problem-solving skills with a history of managing challenging situations. Responsibilities Act as the primary point of contact for customers within the ReStore, appropriately and effectively addressing needs and concerns. Staying knowledgeable about Habitat for Humanity Cape May and the ReStore. Must be able to learn all facets of POS. Assist in running the Sales Floor by: Ringing sales when there is no volunteer cashier, or volume presents the need for a second cashier. Providing assistance to customers and driving sales. Answering phones and responding to electronic communication by customers. Answering questions about the ReStore. Providing assistance to customers and driving sales. Assist in ReStore social media by: Monitoring and responding appropriately to comments and DMs on ReStore pages. Driving engagement on ReStore pages by creating Reels and other content. Additional duties as required (This is a new position, and as such, it will be evolving). Education and Experience High school diploma or equivalent. Experience in retail customer service
