Part-Time Job Description E&e Flowers is looking for a friendly, reliable, and organized Customer Service Associate to join our team and grow with the company. We're a busy, family-owned flower shop in Edison, NJ, specializing in everyday floral arrangements, weddings, special events, and sympathy flowers. We're looking for someone who enjoys working with people, has strong communication skills, and can keep up in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities:

Greet and assist customers in-store with a friendly, professional attitude Answer incoming phone calls and assist customers with questions and floral orders Accurately enter and process orders using our computer-based POS system Help customers select appropriate floral arrangements for different occasions Process payments and handle customer transactions Assist with organizing orders and maintaining accurate records Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming retail space Assist with general shop duties as needed Qualifications Previous customer service or retail experience preferred Excellent verbal and written English communication skills Comfortable using computers and learning new software/POS systems Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Friendly, personable, and comfortable speaking with customers both in person and over the phone Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy environment Dependable, punctual, and willing to work as part of a team Ability to remain patient, professional, and compassionate when assisting customers during sensitive occasions Responsible for watering our houseplants for sale Comfortable making outgoing customer calls and maintaining professional relationships Willingness to help with various tasks throughout the shop Schedule Hours would be Monday to Friday, 9am to 2pm, may need to stay longer some days. We're open until 4pm. Occasional Saturdays and holiday availability will be needed Must be available during busy floral holidays, such as Valentine's Day and Mother's Day Why Work With Us?
