In addition, we offer generous paid time off. Most benefits start day one! Responsibilities Provide timely and accurate information to incoming customer order status and product knowledge requests. Obtain pricing for quotations and submit to customers. Receive orders from customers by telephone, computer and in writing. Process customer orders/changes/returns per established department policies and procedures. Contact current and potential customers for sales opportunities via phone, email, mail, or fax. Compile internal order work sheets to record information received from customers and include all instructions and requirements necessary to fill the order. Coordinate delivery dates between production and customers, follows up on the status of orders through production and constantly communicates with customers. Issue amendments (change orders) as received from customers and follow up to ensure that action is taken by production. Enter order data into computer system, maintains accurate records, and compiles computer or other records as directed by management. Work closely with the credit department to resolve disputed credit items. Provide timely feedback to the company regarding service failures or customer concerns to have investigations and corrective actions made. Compile analysis reports to management. High school diploma, technical, or associates degree. 3 years' customer service experience in a corporate environment, minimum. Manufacturing industry preferred. High attention to detail. Outstanding organization, time management, and follow up skills. Solid computer skills (typing, entering data in a database). Competent with MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel). Familiar with ERP, Customer Relationship Management (CRM), and/or order processing software. Excellent interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills. Ability to represent the company in a professional manner.
