Duties Conduct thorough inspections of damaged vehicles to accurately assess collision repairs and vehicle condition. Prepare detailed auto estimates using estimating software, ensuring clarity and transparency for customers and insurance providers. Communicate repair needs effectively with technicians, parts departments, and customers to facilitate efficient workflow. Assist customers by explaining repair procedures, costs, and timelines with enthusiasm and professionalism. Upsell additional services such as oil changes, tire services, alignments, suspension work, brake repairs, shocks & struts, transmission repairs, diesel engine repairs, air brake systems, and other automotive diagnostics to maximize service opportunities. Handle cash transactions accurately while maintaining excellent customer service standards. Collaborate with mechanics and service technicians to ensure all repairs meet quality standards and safety regulations. Qualifications Proven dealership experience in auto service management or collision estimating. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive diagnostics, repair procedures, and vehicle maintenance. Familiarity with auto estimating tools and service writing processes. Knowledge of automotive systems including transmissions, oil changes, alignments, suspension components, tire services, brake systems, shocks & struts, diesel engines, air brakes, and other automotive repair specialties. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly and confidently. Experience in upselling automotive services to enhance customer satisfaction and dealership revenue. Ability to handle cash transactions accurately while maintaining professionalism under pressure.
