In-person / Medford, NJ About the Role We are a high-touch financial planning and tax advisory firm looking for a dedicated Client Service Associate to join our team. This is a unique opportunity for a detail-oriented professional to work at the intersection of wealth management and tax strategy. You will be the "engine" of our daily operations, supporting a dual CFP®/CPA practitioner in delivering a seamless experience to our clients. Whether you are assisting with investment account onboarding or helping organize tax documentation, your role is vital to our clients' financial peace of mind.What You Will Do Client Onboarding & Service:
Serve as the first point of contact for client inquiries. Manage the end-to-end onboarding process for new wealth management clients.Tax Season Support:
Assist with the collection and organization of client tax documents. Perform basic tax preparation tasks or data entry (experience with Intuit ProSeries is a plus) and ensure all filings meet strict deadlines.Meeting Coordination:
Prepare reports and agendas for client financial planning meetings and handle all post-meeting follow-up tasks and action items.Practice Operations:
Maintain and update client data within our CRM and financial planning software (e.g., eMoney, Wealthbox).Workflow Management:
Proactively manage the "business in motion" tracker to ensure no client request or tax filing falls through the cracks.Administrative Excellence:
Manage calendars, handle digital filing, and coordinate with industry partners/custodians to resolve service issues.Who You Are Knowledgeable:
You have a foundational understanding of financial services and/or tax preparation. You don't need to be an expert yet, but you must have a "tax-aware" mindset and a willingness to learn the complexities of tax season.Detail-Obsessed:
You understand that in the world of CPA and CFP® work, the "small stuff" is the "big stuff." You take pride in zero-error data entry.A Natural Problem Solver:
You approach challenges with a "how can I help?" attitude and look for ways to streamline our office workflows.Tech-Savvy:
You are comfortable learning new software quickly, from tax preparation platforms to sophisticated financial planning tools.Qualifications Experience:
1-3 years in financial services, accounting, or a professional office environment (Preferred).Tax Knowledge:
Basic understanding of tax documents (W2s, 1099s, K-1s) or prior experience in a tax prep role is highly preferred.Skills:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel/Outlook). Experience with CRM software and tax software is a significant advantage.
