$650.00 - $750.00 per week (commissions based on productivity and job performance) Overview We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Automotive Express Lane Service Advisor to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for customers, guiding them through their vehicle service needs and ensuring a seamless experience. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills and a solid understanding of automotive repairs and maintenance, including diesel engine repair and brake repair. Responsibilities Greet customers promptly and professionally, assessing their vehicle service needs Communicate effectively with customers regarding basic vehicle maintenance, repairs, and issues that need to be referred to the main shop service advisors Prepare accurate estimates based on customer needs and vehicle condition Coordinate with Express Lane service technicians to ensure the timely completion of services Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, services performed, and parts used Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and resolve any concerns Promote additional services or products that benefit vehicle performance Stay current on automotive technology and service techniques Requirements Proven customer service experience (automotive environment preferred) Knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance and repair Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical information clearly Familiarity with automotive sales practices and estimating is a plus Ability to work collaboratively with Express Lane technicians and team members Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking skills Passion for the automotive industry and delivering exceptional customer experiences What We Offer Insurance benefits after 90 days of continuous employment (per plan descriptions) Paid vacation after 1 year of continuous employment (per handbook standards) Paid sick time (in accordance with NJ Sick Leave Law) Discounts on parts, service, and vehicle purchases 401(k) with automatic 5% enrollment after 90 days (per plan guidelines) Career growth opportunities and more Benefits 401(k) Dental insurance Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Parental leave Referral program Vision insurance Schedule Day shift Monday to Friday Weekends as needed Join our team as an Automotive Express Lane Service Advisor , where your expertise will help deliver outstanding service and build lasting customer relationships!
