In this role, you will handle transactions accurately, assist customers with their needs, and promote products through engaging demos and upselling techniques. Duties Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system efficiently to process transactions, returns, and exchanges with accuracy. Provide exceptional customer service by greeting shoppers, answering questions, and resolving concerns promptly. Conduct product demonstrations to educate customers about new or featured items, encouraging additional sales. Assist with merchandising tasks such as stocking shelves, organizing displays, and maintaining store cleanliness. Upsell complementary products to enhance customer satisfaction and increase store revenue. Manage cash handling responsibilities with integrity, ensuring all transactions are accurate and secure. Maintain professional phone etiquette when assisting customers over the phone or via online inquiries. Qualifications Previous experience in retail sales or cashiering is preferred but not required; training will be provided. Familiarity with POS systems and basic math skills for cash handling and transaction processing. Strong communication skills, including bilingual abilities, are highly desirable to serve diverse customer needs. Supervising experience is a plus, especially in overseeing team members during shifts or training new staff. Ability to perform merchandising duties such as stocking shelves and organizing displays efficiently. Knowledge of grocery store operations or retail environments is advantageous. Demonstrated customer service skills with a friendly attitude and professional phone etiquette.
