Transportation Division Location:
Monmouth Junction (South Brunswick), NJ About the Role Hermann is seeking a proactive and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to support our Transportation Division. In this fast-paced role, you will serve as a key point of contact for customers, ensuring timely communication, accurate shipment tracking, and seamless coordination with internal teams. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a high-volume environment, can multitask across multiple platforms, and delivers exceptional service with professionalism and urgency. What You'll Do Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and Microsoft Teams in a timely and professional manner Track shipments and provide real-time updates to customers Coordinate with internal teams to ensure efficient transportation operations Manage multiple tasks and communication channels simultaneously Resolve issues proactively and maintain strong customer relationships Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and shipment activity What We're Looking For 1+ years of customer service experience (transportation/logistics preferred) Strong communication skills (phone and email) — required Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment (handling Teams, email, and phone simultaneously) Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (must be comfortable working with data) Strong computer skills and ability to learn new systems and customer portals Excellent interpersonal skills with a proactive, team-oriented mindset Commitment to timely communication with internal and external stakeholders Preferred Qualifications Experience in transportation, logistics, or supply chain Associate's or Bachelor's degree Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
