Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Service Advisor (in our internal shop) to join our team based in Kirtland, New Mexico. The ideal candidate will have a key role in ensuring the maintenance and repair needs of internal fleet assets and equipment are communicated effectively to shop staff. This role is crucial in coordinating timely, accurate, and cost-effective services while minimizing downtime and ensuring the shop operates efficiently. Mechanic experience is a plus also parts recognition. Responsibilities Manage service schedules for company trucks using Motive or similar software Monitor service requests and respond promptly Review part costs, create POs, and estimate labor hours Schedule technicians based on workload and specialty Communicate repair details and updates with technicians, the shop manager, and the dispatcher Meet with drivers to understand repair needs Ensure all repair paperwork and digital records comply with DOT and audit standards Support warranty claims and assist with inventory coordination Track maintenance metrics and monitor safety compliance What You Bring Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to multitask and problem-solve in a fast-paced shop environment Working knowledge of vehicle systems and parts sourcing Experience with Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Experience with fleet management software (e.g., Motive, Fleetio) preferred Benefits Competitive wage with overtime opportunities Full insurance: health, dental, vision, life; 401(k) with matching; PTO/Sick Time Career growth Family-focused culture with safety-first values Why Join Us?
