Customer Service Representative

JOB PURPOSE

To work as an employee of a State Farm Agent, assisting in servicing, selling and marketing State Farm Insurance products to customers. Part Time

EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE

Work experience in customer service, sales, or marketing. Experience with Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, and Outlook Strong phone and written skills required. NYS P&C and LAH license will be needed, and the candidate must maintain license. Agent will pay for the initial course for P&C , Life/Health

Ability to learn quickly and apply product, industry, and market knowledge and make professional recommendations to clients. Ability to communicate professionally. Ability to create professional business relationships with prospects and clients. Ability to take initiative and act effectively in various circumstances without direction. Self-confidence, strong work ethic and remain positive and maintain progress towards a goal in spite of obstacles and adversity. Goal oriented-highly motivated and resourceful to achieve results. Proven track record of trustworthiness, dependability and ethical behavior. Proven problem-solving ability Ability to multi-task. Ability to pay close attention to detail and accuracy.

JOB RELATED TRAINING COURSES AND PROGRAMS

You will be required to successfully complete all company requirements during the first 3 (three) month probationary training period. NYS P&C and LAH will be required to offer and sell insurance policies - PRODUCTION

BONUS DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Contact prospects and current policyholders. Set Appointments and close sales. Prepare forms, policies, and endorsements when required Provide prompt, accurate, friendly, and cost-effective service.

$20.00 - $25.00 per hour
