Full Job Description Description:
Power Distributors, LLC is the Sales and Distribution arm for Briggs and Stratton, the leading manufacturer of air-cooled gasoline engines and parts for outdoor power equipment. Briggs and Stratton engines are incorporated into products for both the consumer market and industrial/commercial applications. We are also responsible for the sales and marketing of Briggs and Stratton Power Products, including consumer and commercial generators and consumer and commercial pressure washers. Power Distributors also distributes Oregon Equipment Parts, Oregon Forestry products, and several other allied parts lines. We are seeking a warranty/tech agent that can work effectively in a team environment at our Castleton, NY contact center. This position provides technical support and warranty administration to our vast dealer network on small engines and outdoor power equipment. This position works closely with the customer service department and our warehouses across the US to support dealers in all facets of the distribution process. #

Responsibilities:
Maintains professional and technical knowledge while accomplishing organizational goals. Familiar with company practices and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Provide a high level of Technical and warranty support to both our customer and staff. Maintains service levels and expectations conducive with the department. Handles inbound/outbound calls from/to our customer base. Acknowledge and appropriately greet and assist every customer in a timely manner Handle complex tasks and projects as assigned. Work with inside and outside staff in all departments, as well as with vendors. Present and discuss the products and services of the company in a way that conveys an image of quality and integrity, with a focus on the importance of our customers. Maintain a high level of product knowledge. Support administrative tasks within the team. Performs ongoing review of procedures and processes to ensure best practices within the Power Distributors organization. Manage SharePoint website at the department level.
Job Qualifications:
A graduate certificate from a certified engine repair or engine tech school and 2 or more years of experience are required. Good communication and problem-solving skills, verbal communication and listening skills are required. Good typing, spelling, and writing skills. Intermediate computer knowledge. Good interpersonal skills are central qualities, including a positive attitude, team building and professionalism.
