Client Service Representative

Description We are seeking a Veterinary Receptionist to serve as the first point of contact for our clients and patients. This role is critical to ensuring a positive client experience while supporting the medical team through accurate communication, scheduling, and administrative support. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a veterinary hospital Some of the responsibilities you will own in this role: Greet clients and patients warmly, in person and by phone Schedule appointments, check patients in and out, and manage the daily calendar Answer multi-line phones, route calls appropriately, and handle client inquiries Process payments, invoices, and medical records accurately Communicate effectively with veterinarians, technicians, and support staff Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front desk area Handle sensitive situations with empathy, professionalism, and discretion Preferred Qualifications Previous experience as a veterinary receptionist, medical receptionist, or customer service professional preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced environment Basic computer proficiency; experience with veterinary practice management software is a plus Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed Benefits Paid time off Health insurance Dental Insurance Vision insurance Employee discounts Flexible schedules 401K with company match Training and Career development About West Hills North Veterinary Clinic West Hills North Veterinary Clinic, in Huntington, NY, is a full-service veterinary medical facility.
