Client Specialist Top Dogs Club Long Island City, NY Job Details Full-time $17 - $19 an hour 5 hours ago Benefits Paid training Paid time off Employee discount Professional development assistance Flexible schedule Qualifications Dog handling Full Job Description Overview Top Dogs Club is looking for a warm, organized, and proactive Client Experience Specialist to support our daycare, boarding, grooming, and training operations. This role combines front desk hospitality, client communication, sales support, and hands-on dog interaction. The ideal candidate enjoys both working with people and understanding dogs, while helping create an exceptional experience for every client who walks through our doors. Responsibilities Greet customers during drop-off, pick-up, and walk-ins Answer phones, texts, emails, and client inquiries Schedule daycare, boarding, grooming, and training appointments Send daycare, boarding, and first-night boarding updates Manage first-day client experience including welcome photos and report cards Process payments and retail purchases using POS systems Coordinate grooming schedules and client instructions Maintain accurate client profiles, notes, and vaccine records Monitor vaccine expiration dates and request updated records Follow up with clients for rebooking and grooming reminders Assist with social media content, photos, and videos Support customer events, partnerships, and community engagement Help maintain a clean and welcoming front desk environment Safely handle and manage dogs while understanding dog behavior and body language Qualifications Strong communication and customer service skills Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment Organized, reliable, and detail-oriented Comfortable handling dogs of all sizes and temperaments Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure Basic computer and POS system experience Availability for weekends and holidays as needed Knowledge of Gingr software is a plus
Pay:
$17.00 - $19.00 per hour
