Job Description

Implementation Manager - Prime Services (Institutional Clients) We're working with a global banking platform seeking an Implementation Manager to join its Prime Services team. This role sits at the intersection of client delivery and internal execution, owning the onboarding and transition of institutional clients across a range of capital markets products. You'll act as the central point of coordination across the onboarding lifecycle, working closely with both clients and internal teams to ensure accounts are fully set up, operationally ready, and delivered within agreed timelines. This is a highly visible role with meaningful exposure across the business and direct interaction with sophisticated institutional clients. Responsibilities Own onboarding projects from kickoff through go-live, ensuring all milestones and dependencies are managed effectively Build and maintain detailed project plans across onboarding workstreams, including documentation, account setup, and product enablement Partner with internal stakeholders across Sales, Product, Operations, Legal, Compliance, Credit, and Technology to ensure full readiness Lead client communication throughout onboarding, including regular status updates and issue resolution Track progress across multiple onboarding processes simultaneously, identifying risks or delays and driving timely resolution Oversee onboarding components such as account configuration, legal agreements, and connectivity setup Ensure all activity is aligned with internal governance standards and regulatory expectations Support ongoing improvements to onboarding workflows, tools, and overall client experience What they're looking for 4-8 years of experience in institutional onboarding, prime brokerage, or client implementation within a capital markets environment Proven experience managing end-to-end onboarding or implementation projects (not just a single function) Exposure to capital markets products , ideally including derivatives, clearing, or financing Familiarity with onboarding workflows, documentation, and regulatory requirements Direct experience within Prime Services / Prime Brokerage Experience working with hedge funds, asset managers, or institutional trading clients Exposure to clearing, custody, margining, or financing workflows Experience working across global or multi-region onboarding processes Why consider this role This role offers the opportunity to take full ownership of institutional client onboarding in a highly visible, front-to-back capacity.
