Description We are looking for an experienced Director of Client Services to lead client-facing delivery and strengthen operational excellence in New York, New York. This role is ideal for someone with a strong agency background who can guide teams, elevate service quality, and keep complex workstreams on track. You will oversee day-to-day client services operations, support team performance, and help shape scalable processes that improve accountability, planning, and overall business results.

Responsibilities:

• Direct and develop the client services function, providing coaching, structure, and clear performance expectations for team members.
• Oversee active client engagements to ensure work is completed on schedule, aligned with quality standards, and responsive to client needs.
• Identify delivery risks early, resolve operational obstacles, and keep projects progressing efficiently across accounts.
• Refine internal workflows and team practices to increase consistency, productivity, and ownership across the department.
• Collaborate with executive leadership on client strategy while maintaining responsibility for daily service operations and execution.
• Manage resource allocation, capacity planning, and staffing priorities to support current and future business demands.
• Review budgets, headcount needs, and performance metrics to inform planning and operational decision-making.
• Prepare forecasts, reporting, and business insights that help leadership evaluate team performance and service delivery outcomes. Requirements
• Prior experience in an agency environment is required.
• Background leading Client Success, Account Management, or Project Management teams.
• Demonstrated success managing people, workflows, and cross-functional resources.
• Strong operational judgment with a track record of improving processes and reinforcing accountability.
• Ability to evaluate budgets, staffing levels, and business performance data with confidence.
• Excellent analytical and multitasking skills in a fast-paced client services setting.
• Familiarity with reporting, planning, and performance measurement practices.
• Working knowledge of business analytics and financial concepts relevant to operational leadership.
