Duties Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system accurately to process sales, returns, and exchanges Greet customers warmly, providing exceptional service and addressing inquiries with professionalism Upsell products and promote special offers to customers. Conduct product demos when applicable to showcase features and benefits to customers Maintain clean and organized checkout areas, ensuring efficient transaction flow Handle cash, credit card transactions, and other payment methods with precision and integrity Provide support with inventory management tasks such as stock replenishment and inventory counts Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when assisting customers over the phone or via online communication Support team members through supervising experience, mentoring new staff, or guiding customer interactions when needed Requirements Previous cashiering experience is preferred Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customers Familiarity with POS systems and basic retail math for accurate cash handling and transactions Ability to perform basic math calculations quickly and accurately during checkout processes Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor Experience in grocery store operations or retail sales is advantageous Professional phone etiquette when interacting with customers over the phone We are committed to supporting your growth through ongoing training and development opportunities.
