SUMMARY:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Order Processing Order entry EDI order processing Order printing Customer communication as necessary via phone or email Customer knowledge Communication with sales personnel as necessary Warehouse communication Invoicing Attend daily customer service meetings, as needed Answer phones, as needed Creation of tools to help sales personnel Other duties assigned including but not limited to inventory control activities. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office
QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
Bachelor's Degree or related training/experience
Experience:
2+ years in customer service role, preferable in food manufacturing
Skills:
Basic arithmetic Strong attention to detail Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment A strong work ethic and proven leadership skills. A self-motivated individual that can direct others. Excellent communication skills Knowledge and understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices Basic computer knowledge
RELATIONSHIPS
Reports to the Office Manager Works closely with Production, Quality, and Warehouse
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, reach, stretch, stoop, bend, and use hands and fingers. This position requires the employee to be able to read, write, and communicate orally in English. In addition, the employee must be able to hear and have color vision. The physical demands described are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
