Job Description

Position Summary:
YWCA Hamilton has been in the heart of Hamilton for over 125 years. We are proud to serve all of Butler County following the mission of eliminating racism, empowering women, and promoting peace, justice, dignity, and freedom for all. The Team Lead for Permanent Supportive Housing provides day-to-day leadership, supervision, coaching, and support to staff serving individuals experiencing chronic homelessness, housing instability, trauma, domestic violence, behavioral health challenges, substance use disorders, and other barriers to long-term housing stability. This is a working supervisor role. The Team Lead supports direct service staff, monitors service quality, strengthens documentation and compliance practices, assists with onboarding and training, and helps ensure Permanent Supportive Housing services are delivered consistently with YWCA Hamilton's mission, values, program standards, grant requirements, and best practices. The Team Lead works closely with program leadership, housing partners, landlords, community providers, and internal team members to support high-quality outcomes for individual participants. If this sounds like you, some of the job responsibilities are listed below: Delivers supervision, leadership, care, and services consistent with YWCA Hamilton's mission and values, including cultural humility, anti-racist practices, and trauma-informed care. Provides day-to-day leadership, guidance, coaching, and support to Permanent Supportive Housing staff, including assistance with orientation, training, performance feedback, workflow coordination, and professional development. Models effective participant engagement, crisis response, boundary setting, documentation, teamwork, and professional communication for staff to follow. Supports program leadership with hiring input, onboarding, training plans, staff development, corrective coaching, performance improvement planning, and other supervisory activities as assigned. Assists with monitoring compliance with YWCA Hamilton policies and procedures, funder requirements, Permanent Supportive Housing standards, confidentiality expectations, fair housing principles, and documentation requirements. Provides support and oversight for participant-centered service delivery, including housing stabilization, individualized service planning, referrals, advocacy, crisis intervention, safety planning, and connection to community resources. Assists staff in supporting individual participants with housing retention activities, including communication with service providers and community partners as appropriate. Monitors timely, accurate, and complete documentation in required databases and YWCA Hamilton documentation systems and provides coaching to staff to support compliance and quality standards. Assists with reporting, data quality, program monitoring, and preparation for funder or regulatory reviews as directed by program leadership. Participates in departmental meetings, agency-wide meetings, supervision, required trainings, and mandated educational sessions. Participates in community outreach and engagement activities that support YWCA Hamilton programs, services, partnerships, and mission advancement. Perform agency security role through monitoring of entrances and cameras. On Site Case Management Performs all other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma or Graduate Equivalent Diploma required. Bachelor's degree in the fields of human services, healthcare, political science, women and minority studies, or related fields strongly preferred not required.
