Job Description

Customer Service Representative Piqua, OH Full-time Full-time Jackson Tube Service is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join our team. This role is responsible for managing phone and email sales of tubing while providing exceptional customer service throughout the order process. The Customer Service Representative serves as a key liaison between customers and internal departments, ensuring accurate order processing, timely communication, and effective resolution of customer concerns. Key Responsibilities Provide professional, friendly, and efficient customer service via phone and email. Handle customer inquiries regarding orders, pricing, product availability, order status, delivery status, and other service-related questions. Process customer orders from quote to completion, including: Quoting prices accurately Entering order data Communicating delivery timelines Following up after delivery and supporting future orders Maintain and update customer records and account information. Coordinate with internal departments to troubleshoot issues and resolve customer concerns promptly and effectively. Serve as a liaison between customers, District Sales Managers, vendors, and various company departments. Maintain effective communication with customers, co-workers, and vendors to ensure a positive customer experience. Utilize Microsoft Word, Excel, and company-specific databases to manage customer information and order processing. Qualifications Associate's degree preferred. High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous customer service, sales support, inside sales, or order-entry experience preferred. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to multitask and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel. Ability to learn and effectively use company-specific software and databases. Strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to customer satisfaction. Preferred Skills Experience in manufacturing, industrial sales, or distribution environments. Ability to build and maintain positive customer relationships. Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
